Lianet Gonzalez Vera was on her way to Santiago de Cuba to a catholic church Santiago del Cobre. She wanted to attend Mass which was being conducted to demand the release of political prisoners and the and of police oppression. When she was going on the San Lino and 2 Sur Street, she was detained by State Security officials Sergio and Kevin. She was driven to the police department and threatened of being accused of public disorder and disobedience. She was released at 11:30 am at the same day.
