Francisco Osoria Claro was heading to the Santa Catalina de Ricci Church in Guantánamo in order to attend Sunday Mass. When he was passing through the Los Maceos and 3 Sur Streets, he was stopped by a State Security official known as Kevin or Jefferson who told him that he could not go to the church. Francisco protested and, in consequence, he was detained and driven to the police station located on the 3 Oeste Street between 16 and 17 Norte. He was released at 9 am on the same day.
