UNPACU activist was victim of racist comments and threats

An activist from the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU) was insulted and threatened by the president of the Committee for the Defense of the Revolution No. 48, Eladia Carcases, and by the head of surveillance of the Turey neighborhood, Carlos Hernández Frometa. These people made racist comments to him when the activist was passing by, saying "look at this black man, he's not even dying, he's a worm against the revolution, we should send him to beat up". The activist responded by criticizing the revolution and defending the right to freedom of expression.
