Human rights activist in Caimanera summoned to the police station and threatened

Yeris was summoned to the police station in the municipality of Caimanera at 2 pm. When he arrived, he was interrogated by Major Yoanny Lafita, head of the State Security (DSE) in Caimanera and Captain Edwin Jefferson, also known as Kevin, who is the deputy head of the DSE in the municipality of Guantánamo. The officials told him that if he continued having illegal meetings and did not stop taking pictures of the project concerning the new constitution, they would beat him up and put in the prison. Then they gave him an official warning which Yeris refused to sign. He was released at about 2:30 pm without any further consequences.
