Lady in White, Aleida Cofiño Rivera, was detained half block away from the church where she was about to attend the Mass in order to pray for the political prisoners. When they were walking down the Principal Street to wait for a patrol car, a random woman approached Aleida and started to tell her about what is every day happening on the street. When the accompanying secret police officer Bernardo saw that, he said to her: "It was a lack of respect to listen to that woman. Because of that, we will release you only at 5 pm and next week, you can be fined." When they arrived to the police station, she was seated in a reception room on the second floor. She was not given any detention record and was released at 3:10 pm.
