Yobel was arbitrarily detained at the checkpoint of the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) located in the Cajobabo municipality Imias by two uniformed officers, after occupying 30 lbs of coffee of unknown origin. There, he was handcuffed and transferred to the Police Unit located in the municipality of Imias, where he met Captain Ramón Matos Borges, a criminal investigator. Borges had a conversation with him where he told him that he was ordered to death since he belonged to illegal groups. Three hours later, after occupying the mentioned coffee and being fined with $60 CUP (1.8 euros), he was released.
