State Security searches the house of a citizen from Pinar del Río and confiscates her pig

On 15 May 2019, at 10:30 am, the house of Barbara Santoyo López, a citizen from Pinar del Río, was searched by the State Security officials. She was fined 50 pesos and the officials confiscated her a pig she was keeping. The reason for this intervention was the dispute between Santoyo López and a lady living nearby, who is at the same time a State Security official. According to the officials, the lady who submitted the complaint claimed that she was having problems with Santoyo López, who has, on the top of that, friends among the human rights defenders.
