Activist and former political prisoner Yordenis Mendoza Cobas was summoned by a police instructor on 2nd December to report to Guantanamo Park 24 police station, where he remained for seven hours. The summons was issued because a citizen, who collaborates with the police apparatus in Guantánamo, accused him of threatening to use a knife. When the accuser was presented, it was demonstrated that this accusation was false and that the activist had been involved. In addition, he was fined $30 Cuban pesos (€1). The activist was in prison serving a three-year sentence for the Attack case, which was not concluded due to the agreements made in 2013 between the Presidents Barack Obama and Raúl Castro.
