UNPACU activist threatened and intimidated in the Guantánamo Prison

On 11 July, 2020, Rafael Puente Creme was called to the office A500 in the Guantánamo Prison. Puente Creme replied that he was just saying the truth about how the prisoners are mistreated and the food is of a very low quality in the prison. Moreover, he was warned that he would not be allowed to receive visits from an activist Henry Couto who is, according to Major Rubén, a counter-revolutionary. Couto tried to visit Puente Creme in the prison few days ago, but he was not allowed to enter. "Do not maintain your contacts neither with Santiago nor with people from Guantánamo, they are just misusing you and will not help you. We can help you and assure better conditions for you," said the official. Puente Creme refused it.
