On January 15, Marioldis was arbitrarily detained. He worked as a fisherman authorized by the state where he lived. He was taken to the police unit (PNR) where he remained for four hours and where 29 kg of fish were seized from him. Marioldis, who was not selling the product, recalls that they fined him 4000 pesos (121.6 €). Five months prior, they had imposed a fine of 3000 pesos (€ 91). For clarification, the only livelihood in that region is fishing.
