Activist from Guantánamo detained while heading to Mass

Celina Osoria Claro is a human rights defender and a member of the Ladies in White. On 28 July 2019 at 6:20 am, she was detained by the State Security (DSE) officials known as Edwin Jefferson or Kevin and Luis Ángel or Roberto in the Calixto García Street and La Avenida. She was just heading to the Santa Catalina de Ricci Church where she was planning to attend the Sunday Mass. After the detention, she was driven to the State Security detention center known as Operations. There she was kept until 6 am on the next day and then released without any further consequences.
