Dianelis Moreno Soto and another activist were in the parking lot of Street 54, in Varadero. Four police officers approached them (two men and two women) and told them they had to accompany them. Both were taken into a police car and driven to the Police Unit of Santa Marta, on Thursday, January 11 at 3:00 p.m. Once at the police station, a detention record was issued and Soto was not allowed to make a telephone call as established by law. The following toys occupied him: 3 sets of fireman tools, 2 sets of mechanic tools, two sets of carpenter tools, two purses with four balls each, three rattles, three kitchen sets, and five sets of plates for babies. They imposed a fine with the value of 2000 pesos of national currency (60 euros). Eventually, they were released in Santa Marta at 7:55 p.m.
