Mariela Gonzalez returned from the Municipality of the Maya province of Santiago de Cuba to the Guantanamo province. Her car was stopped at the checkpoint 18 km Highway Santiago de Cuba to make a record. Leyva Gonzales brought a box with 36 bath soaps bought for her family living in Guantanamo. The police seized the bath soaps. Mariela asked for an explanation to the head of Checkpoint. He answered they took her everything due to her accumulation of that product. She replied insulted she did not engage in sale. She said the government should supply shops in the province of Guantanamo which have deficits with such kind of product. She was immediately suppressed and offended by officers on duty. They threatened her if she maintain expressing that meaning thus she would be accused for disobedience. She was fined 60 pesos warning her once repeating her case they take her those products again. Gonzales Leyva complained to Citizen services without having any response yet.
