Ms. Alejandra Esteves was detained for more than 2 hours and was the victim of threats, outrage and psychological abuse by the sector chief, Captain Gianny Clape Rodríguez of the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) for allegedly defending the so-called counter-revolutionary José Daniel Ferrer Garcia in the street by questioning why he had not been detained before if the government allegedly knew that he was committing crimes. According to Captain Clape, the citizenry was "playing the game" with the counter-revolutionaries so that they would say that the police were mistreating the opponents in the municipality.
