Activist from Guantánamo beaten up while protesting in front of his house

In the afternoon, 16 December 2020, Miguel Ángel López Herrera, an activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU), was protesting in front of his house. He was mostly complaining about the poor living conditions in Cuba, hunger and constant harassment coming from the State Security. Suddenly, one of the State Security collaborators, sent by Major Sergio, approched him and beat him up. He caused him an injury on his eye and face. López Herrera then had to be taken to the medical center as he fainted during the attack.
