The activist Manuel de Jesus was going to Santiago de Cuba to participate in the Mass in Santuario del Cobre. He was detained at the street Avenida Camilo Cienfuegos and San Gregorio by the anti-riot brigades, officials of the National Revolutionary Police and officials of State Security (among others Major Bryan, Major Alayo, First Lieutenant Kevin, Captain Sergio and First Lieutenant Kata). He was driven to the criminal intrusion unit of the State Security and then he was transferred to the police unit where he was threatened and offended by the official Sergio.
