Detained and robbed for distributing humanitarian aid after the Hurricane Mathew



After delivering humanitarian aid to the people affected by Hurricane Mathew, the activist Bartolo Cantillo Romero was beaten and detained by police and State Security forces. His cellphone was robbed and then Bartolo was transferred to the operations unit, where he was detained for 48 hours. In addition, he was threatened by Captain Sergio who warned him that his freedom was in danger for affecting enemy activities against the State Security.
