Independent journalist from Baracoa detained at home



Yoel Acosta Games was detained in his house by State Security (DSE) officials known as Leonis and Serio or Jaime Vera accompanied by several policemen who did not identify themselves. They took him to the police unit in the municipality of Baracoa where Yoel lives. They told him that he was promoting a counterrevolution in Baracoa and encouraging youth to express its opinion. Yoel was then threatened with imprisonment if he continued with his activities. He was released on the next day at about 5 pm.
