Police register the house of a Camagüey activist and detained him for 72 hours



At 7 in the morning, two officials of the National Revolutionary Police with an official of the State Security, known as Daniel, came to Miguel's house. Without presenting a witness or court order, they searched his house in front of his relatives including children and elderly people. Miguel was accused of printing pamphlets and his computer and printer, which he worked on as a freelancer, were confiscated. He was taken to the station of the National Revolutionary Police where he was detained and interrogated for 72 hours. He was fined 1500 pesos, the patent was withdrawn, his equipment was taken and he was sent a warning letter.
