In the early morning, Enrique Mutelier Sosa, a human rights activist, was heading to a church situated in José Martí Park. Suddenly, he was detained by State Security official major Cantillo and two policemen. He was put into the patrol car No. 60 and driven to the detention center known as Parque 24. He was interrogated by major Cantillo who threatened him with imprisonment in El Combinado del Este, a well-known prison in Guantanamo. Finally, Enrique was released at 5 pm.
