María Matienzo Puerto was a victim of police action headed by Major Alejandro from the secret police. The goal was to prevent María and her colleague, Kirenia Núñez Pérez, from leaving the house. Kirenia was supposed to travel to Belgium, to the European Parliament and in order to prevent her to reach the airport, the police action was launched. As María took several pictures as a proof of what happened, she was later threatened by Major Alejandro by phone.
