On April 9, Gricelia -mother of political prisoner Eider Frometa Allen- was summoned to the Parque 24 Police Unit. There, State Security officers told her that they knew she belonged to a WhatsApp group called "La jaba para los inocentes" (The jaba for the innocent), in which a call for a march on April 11 was being organized. They accused her of inciting prisoners to go on hunger strikes to demand their rights and support the march. The officers threatened her that if she maintained this position, she would pay the consequences.
