House-search made without the correct search warrant

Lieutenant Rolando Quez, Head of Sector, together with several police officers, searched the house of Alvarez Fernandez for alleged unlawful gambling, also known as the People's Lottery. While searching, police occupied 500 CUC (468 EUR) and 9500 CUP (335.7 EUR), four sets of car tires, a motorcycle seat, 5 pounds (1.6 kg) of beef for his daughter's diet and two sheets of paper with written numbers, then the Head of the Sector said "I caught you." This search was carried out without a warrant being in order, since it did not have the signature of a Prosecutor nor a Judge. Until the day of the report (4.2.2017), Alvarez Fernandez remains detained and incommunicado.
