The victim was arrested at their home on July 13. Until August 4 they were released, with the sanction of compensating the Provincial Central Committee of the party the sum of 5758 cup and the Complejo Monumental Plaza de la Revolución de Holguín the sum of 3229 cup. In addition, in trial they were sentenced to 15 years in prison, sentence that was reduced to 10 years after an appeal trial.
