State Security detains an activist and confiscates her money



Damaris Mónica Hidalgo García is an activist from the Cuban Reflection Movement. When she was returning from the municipality of Palmira, she was arrested in the terminal building with car rental in Santa Clara. She was driven by patrol car to the 5th Unit of the National Revolutionary Police in Santa Clara. There, the officials confiscated her 500 USD and three radio transmitters, without having received any document about the confiscation. The detention took about three hours starting from 11 am. The action was coordinated by Captain Misael from the State Security.
