Independent journalist Lázaro Yuri Valle Roca was physically assaulted by a State Security (DSE) agent in the middle of the street. This incident caused a fracture in his right shoulder and it happened after being besieged by the police and agents of the State Security for 17 days, while doing his journalistic work in the headquarters of the Ladies in White movement. The journalist also received several threats through messages to his cell phone. During the year 2016 he was arrested more than 19 times.
