Lady in White Leticia Ramos Herrera went to the City Hall in the Matanza Province to renew her passport which she had already requested one month ago without any objections. After this period, the responsible person in the Cárdenas office, known as Misleysi, told her that her travels are regulated and her passport cannot be renewed. The officer also made a phone call right in front of Ramos Herrera to the State Security which confirmed the ongoing regulation. Ramos Herrera wanted to go abroad to get a surgery which she was afraid to undertake in Cuba. Based on this decision, Ramos Herrera's travels will be restricted for three years.
