After visiting the prison in order to review the situation of some detainees, an activist was arrested by an officer named Maikel and two PNR (National Revolutionary Police) agents and taken to the police unit of Mella. There he was threatened by the political police officers, Dainer Pagan and Abel, with indefinite detention if he returned to jail or if he tried to meet with someone other than his family.
