In the morning of November 15, 2021, the house of Bartolo Cantillo Romero was surrounded by police, forces of State security and rapid response brigades. This people, unidentified at the scene, broke the door and registered his house, stealing personal equipment and belongings, which haven't been returned. After that they took Bartolo and took him to locality of Yaya in the police unit, for more than 24 hours he was tortured on a cell without water, food, mattress, and medical or legal assistance. When he was released, they told him he would be under house arrest, and would be processed for disobedience; that's what the officer Sergio assured, who slapped him on his face and threatened "we are going to disappear you". These types of actions were committed against activists all over the country, just because they attended a peaceful rally demanding the end of the repression, claiming for no violence and freedom for political prisoners.
