The 4-year-old son of local activist Demis Valdés Sarduy lives in conditions that are unsuitable with his health conditions: vitiligo, prurigo, and chronic solar dermatitis as allergic manifestations. Because they do not have a roof to shelter themselves, they live in the Placetas Hotel, a building in a state of abandonment with accumulations of debris and dirt located in Central between 2nd and 3rd of the west of that municipality.
