Man from Guantánamo detained in Havana and deported back for "being illegal"

On 7 October, 2019, Roelvis Cuba Sendo was walking around in the municipality of Havana Center when the police officers led by Captain Rodríguez in a patrol detained him and drove him to the police station. There he was kept in detention for more than 5 days. Then he was transported back to the Guantánamo province for being illegal according to a law which targets people from the Eastern parts of Cuba. These citizens often go to the capital to get a job and to have better living conditions, however they are often detained and deported back. They are often called "palestinos" which is a term used to describe the people trying to emigrate to Havana.
