An activist threatened with imprisonment for giving out false news against peace, illicit association, and espionage

Niober García Fournier intended to go to his home after a meeting with various activists of human rights in the house of another activist, Arturo Acosta Guillen. On his walk, he was detained on Santa Rita street by a State Security Officer known as Kevin (Jefferson), along with other unidentified agents and police officers. He was taken to the Operations area of the detention center. There, he was threatened with imprisonment by Kevin for giving out false news against peace, illicit association, and espionage (giving information about the Cuban military to foreign powers). He was released six hours later and was decommissioned of his smartphone.
