A Guantánamo citizen threatened in Parque 24 due to his participation in 11 July protests



Robert Mendez Matos was summoned by the sector police chief of his neighborhood to the police unit called Parque 24. There he was threatened for not having a job and expressing his view on protests from 11 July. According to Mendez, the regime in Cuba lies to its citizens. He was threatened that he might be prosecuted for dangerousness if he continued with the same rhetoric. He was released on the same day after 7 hours.
