Edgar beaten and threatened with being killed

About 8:45 a.m., Edgar, UNPACU activist, was heading towards the church Don Vosco when he was arbitrarily detained by the agents of the State Security supported by the National Revolutionary Police. Edgar was put into a patrol car and then transferred to the car number 977. That was brutally gripped by members of the Special Brigade. The officer who led the operation of the National Revolutionary Police that had number 23454 threatened Edgar with killing him if he tried again to reach the church, he handcuffed him as well and took him to a truck. After few minutes, he was taken to a cul-de-sac. He was taken from the truck and beaten with a motorcycle chain. The policeman did not show any identification nor the arrest warrant from the court. Several days later, he was getting cold compress and antibiotics. He did not come to the doctor because many times he has been beaten there and he has never received the certificate when he told them he was beaten by police.
