Alexandre was in Guaro doing some journalistic works for the audiovisual project Palenque Visión. He was detained by State Security agents and the Police around midday. The agents took him to the Police station in the municipality of Mayarí because he allegedly committed an usurpation of functions. He was released on the 9th, around midday, the officers took him in a patrol to the outskirt of Banes so he may return home.
