Victim in jail without adequate medical attention



The victim is serving an unjust punishment in the old Holguín jail, and vomited blood for several days without receiving adequate medical care. They only brought him to the prison infirmary and put him in bed, where he was suppesedly under observation, but without any medication and and no diagnosis of the disease itself, which may be serious, or could result in something serious, like a bleeding ulcer, parasitosis, etc. The victim also states that they are threatened there because they say that if they complain or report the incident, they will immediately be transferred to Guantánamo, or some other province far away from their families. We ought to hold responsible the staff of this prison and health authorities, who should protect the health of the prisoners against anzthing that might endanger their lives.
