Activist detained while heading to the UNPACU Headquarters in Guantánamo



Roelvis Cuba Zendo was detained by patrol car No. 600 and State Security official Major David who drove him to a police unit prosecuting crime against state security. There he was threatened with imprisonment by secret police official Charlo who also labelled him mercenary. This happened when Roelvis was on his way to the UNPACU Headquarters located in San Lino Street. Later on, he was planning to attend Mass in the Santuario del Cobre in Santiago de Cuba Province. The Mass was carried out in support of the Ladies in White and Todos Marchamos Campaign which demands the release of political prisoners.
