A woman was denied medical care when she most needed it

Juana is currently being held in women´s prison. On January 26, she asked to see a doctor due to severe chest pain. However, the authorities denied her any medical care. By Janury 29, her condition had worsened and she had to be driven to the hospital for what was diagnosed to be a heart attack. She had to spend 4 days in the intesive care unit.
