UNPACU activist denounces several arbitrary detentions accompanied by beatings and torture



On the morning of May 12, 2022, Adairis Miranda Leiva, member of the Olegario Chaviot Spileta Command and UNPACU activist, submitted a written complaint to the Regional Military Prosecutor's Office of the province. In it she denounced that the State Security and the Confrontation Unit have arbitrarily detained her on several occasions and that she has been the victim of beatings, moral offenses and torture in the Unit for Crimes against State Security, located in the criminal prosecution.
