Bricklayer arrested for alleged contempt of authority

Aurelio, a man who works in construction, was returning home around 3 pm. He put his work tools in a backpack. Near his house he met the sector chief Edgar and another authority, who intercepted him and asked him for his identity card. They then asked him to check his backpack to see what he was carrying. Aurelio, annoyed by the fatigue and the arbitrary nature of the situation, told them that they could not search him in the middle of the street, and told them that if they wanted to search him they should take him to a police unit. They detained him at the Third Unit of the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) and looked inside his backpack. They decided to charge him with contempt and disobedience, he stayed three days in jail and was released on a bail of 1500$CUP, now he is awaiting judicial process on his case.
