The police retains the evidence documents of an activist of Orlando Zapata Tamayo in Holguín

Aurelio Antonio Morales Ayala had been waiting for his taxi on August 25, 2013 to be interviewed for political refugee application when two patrol cars appeared. Totally 11 police officers assaulted him and retained his documents (birth registration, certificate of studies completed, photos of beatings etc.) which were to be used as an evidence. Aurelio managed to escape before any detention occurred.
