Livan was taken from the bus without any reason

About 7 p.m., Livan was heading to Havana from the provincial terminal of Las Tunas and, after having boarded the bus, he received a call from the daughter of his spouse. She said several agents of the political police were looking for him. Instantly, police came up (one of them was the Lieutenant Colonel Reynaldo Jimenez), detained him and got him off the bus without showing any arrest warrant emitted by the court or by other authority with judicial power. Furthermore, they did not ask for Livan's documentation. Livan was put into the private white Lada car where he remained for more than hour and half circulating throughout the city. He was tortured psychologically and threatened with never letting him go to Havana. They left him near his home. There was his mother in a serious state of nerves. She told him that there were a lot of agents of political police watching their house from 9 p.m. until the morning to avoid his traveling to Havana.
