ADO activist was threatened and warned not to move from his home

In the afternoon, Captain and sector chief Midelsi Duran Campo showed up at the home of activist and independent journalist Roberto Gonzalez Pelegrin. This visit was the result of an order from the Department of State Security (DSE), which sent him to threaten the activist with arrest if he moved from his home in those days. The DSE also told him that they had information about the visits the activist had made recently to Santiago de Cuba, that he should think hard about what he was doing because the situation was not one for play, that they would be watching him. This officer also told him to try not to send false information about the situation of José Daniel Ferrer García to the media, for example Radio Martí, because they were going to prosecute him for slander against the government. After more than an hour of threats and warning him not to break the law because he would have a very bad time, the officer left.
