Activist arrested for walking in dressed in white in her hometown.



The activist of the Pedro Luis Boitel Abraham Party for Democracy, Yalena Marrero Burunate, was detained after taking to the streets dressed in white and walking to the Catholic Church in her municipality. She was deprived of her liberty and initially taken to the local Police Station, but later she was taken to the State Security Barracks. There she was interrogated and released several hours later.
