The arrest and prosecution of a man in Havana. The trial that was never performed

Together with other persons, Miguel Ángel Tamayo Frías was participating in a demonstration on June 13, 2014 in the street San Martin Galeano Neptune, where they demonstrated peacefully demanding their rights as Cuban citizens. They did this by posters relating to the fundamental needs of the people and talking slogans in favor of the political prisoners and detainees, until they were stopped by the PNR being confronted each participant for law enforcement. Miguel Angel Frias Tamayo interacted with Miltón Ever Sanchez del Campo, referring to the provisional findings of the Office. Tamayo Frias was wearing a white nylon bag as a dress saying "No more Castroism" UMPACU, PPR Foundation and Frank País. The agent intercepted Miguel Angel Frias Tamayo giving him a shove. It was not shure that Miguel Angel Frias Tamayo was resisting arrest, because there is a video in which can be seen that he did not carry any outfit with these phrases, only one poster saying "No more hunger, repression, dictatorship." Also when the PNR intercepted, they did not resist arrest and never attempted endanger the officers who reduced to obedience beating them and giving them handcuffs. They were taken to the "America" Theatre afterwards transferred to the unit Zanja and then to Picota. Finally, they were taken to the detention of Valle Grande. Miguel Angel Tamayo Frias was arrested seven months waiting for the judgment. They were notified provisional conclusions of the prosecutor and the order for a trial that was never performed. He has been accused of the crime of assault to five years imprisonment, contempt to two years of imprisonment and resistance to one year of imprisonment, as the sole and joint penalty of six years imprisonment. With the restoration of relations between Cuba and the US, both countries concessions were made and given some freedom to political prisoners and detainees, including Miguel Angel Frias Tamayo. His case was postponed. Actions and crimes will be filed.
