Yobel Sevilla Martínez and his friends arbitrarily detained

Human rights activist Yobel Sevilla Martínez was with his friends in the central park of José Martí when the Major of the State Security, Bryan, and the Captain, Sergio, with a group of anti-riot police, came up to them. Yobel and his friends were detained and taken to the detention center. They were accused of organizing a subversive meeting, which, according to the security, would interrupt the parade on May 1st. The officials threatened to take them to prison. In the end, they were all released that day.
