At 6 a.m., the activist of the UNPACU Henry Couto Guzmán was heading to the Santiago de Cuba to participate in a Mass to ask for the freedom of political prisoners and for the cessation of political oppression. Suddenly, was detained by State Security officials known as Alex y Cata and driven to the police unit in the municipality Manuel Tames. There, he received threat from the first Lieutenant Santos that they would accuse him of public disorder. He was released around 1 p.m.
