An activist Marcos Antonio Moran Pelegrin was going to attend a protest march demanding the release of political prisoners and the end of political repression in Cuba. At 6 am, Marcos Antonio was detained in San Lino and 3 Sur Street by State Security officials. They put him in the bus which was parked in direct sun. He was later driven to Yateritas, a municipality located more than 40 km away from Guantánamo.
