Lady in White from Jovellanos detained and threatened by the police

On Sunday, 11 November 2018, when a human rights defender and a Lady in White, Annia Zamora Carmenate, was about to leave for the Mass as all the other members of the Ladies in White, she was detained at the door of her house. The official who detained her is known as Dayron. He prevented her from attending the Mass and immediately drove her to the police station in the municipality of Carlos Rojas. During her detention, Annia was mistreated and strongly threatened. There she was detained until 11:30 am when the official supposed that the Mass was over and then released.
