On 11 January, 2020, at about 8 am, a house of the activist from the Cuban Reflection Movement (MCR), Aurelio Cabrera González, was searched by secret police officials known as Luisito and Bryan and one of the department chiefs from the Ministry of the Interior (MININT). After that, Aurelio was detained and driven to the provincial headquarters of so-called Department 21. There he was interrogated, threatened and had to do a calligraphy test due to a fact that several anti-goverment posters had appeared earlier that day on the walls of the Provincial Tribunal and the House of Combatants. Aurelio was kept detained until 10:30 am and then released.
